Human Company, a science fiction novel, pits humans against their bioengineered replacements.
Bios, women bioengineered from human stock, have settled the marginally inhabitable planet Snowshoe. However, the collapse of a space elevator has plunged their Femdom into a dark age.
Gypsy realizes that a long abandoned second elevator, which is near collapse, threatens to destroy the re-emergent civilization. When the bios women oppose his attempt to save the elevator, he recruits a company of outcast human girls into the quest.

Good Company!
This story starts with a gender-dominance reversal, with few males on a planet of Amazons. The main character, a teenage boy, is on a Quest, seemingly like Don Quixote, with little more going for him than sheer determination. The rest of the core cast is composed primarily of young adults, all female, of course. The quest become a Mystery, where puzzle-solving and risky experiments permit progress. The cast becomes a Company, and then a Family. This is a rich story, told on many levels, well suited to all ages. The characters are vivid, always intriguing, and often endearing. The story ends with a bit of a denouement: The main character has found his next Quest. I eagerly look forward to following his progress!

this needs to be published
Who ever wrote this needs to know that they should not stop. This text is well worth the read. You should begin publishing your work. What a concept! You could go on and on with this... I really liked it. I would buy more of this in print or in electronic release.
How submitted this book, was it the author? If so it would be great to hear some comment from him, acknowledging the opinions here and letting us know if there is more in the pipeline. Jaqian
